This service has been created to provide the convenience of being able to share short code links that can be communicated via a phone call, SMS message or a piece of paper.

Due to the nature of simplex links being quite long this makes them unsuitable for sharing in limited communication context. This convenience comes with a privacy trade-off since the link codes need to be stored in a database that connects them with the short codes.

You can use TOR to protect your IP address privacy and a new invite link for each code that you generate using a different temporary profile and only after validating the identity of the contact you added, you can invite your contact to another profile via the simplex chat conversation.
